Always kept me informed on any updates, kept my timeline in motion and made sure everything was getting done, helped with recommendations and market insight. and is always so kind. I will definitely go back to Mike when I look to sell my home, and buy a new one.
When speaking with Mike and spending time with him viewing houses it never seemed like there was a rush, it seemed like he had all of the time in the world for my needs - this is a great skill and it was very much appreciated. Mike would arrange viewings around my tight schedule (due to my working hours) and was always available by phone one or another. As a first time buyer Mike explained some of the nuances about buying homes, he helped me realise what I wanted, and what I didn't want. We saw enough homes for me to dial on to what I wanted and when I was shown 308 44th St I knew straight away that this was it. The drop feed of homes as soon as they come on the market was extremely helpful, it meant that I didn't need to keep looking through the same list to see if there were updates but knew in real time that something had changed. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike, it was a pleasure to work with him and I'd be confident he could help someone else find their perfect home as he did with me. My only criticism with the process was really out of Mike's hands and was regarding the Buyer's Agency Contract and the verbiage contained and timing of when I signed it. The contractual language was very strong and was contrary to what was the given understanding of how sale's are conducted in PA i.e. the seller's pay the realtor fees. I signed this agreement when I was putting my offer in - I felt like it was too late to dispute because I didn't want to miss out on the house. In this instance, Mike explained things to me, I trusted him and what he said and did my own research to realise that it was a fairly standard agreement. However, I am still left with a distaste from signing that agreement in the way that I did - the contractual language should have been worded differently to more accurately reflect what the situation was - basically, the realtor fee was to be paid the seller but if I (the buyer) pull out of the purchase and buy a different house I still owe the realtor a fee. As previously stated, I understand the requirement for the contract but disagree with the wording and how it is handled/when it is presented to be signed.
I can’t say enough…. Very professional and the man seems to never sleep. Always available…….. and pays so much attention to detail. We feel very comfortable with Mr. Gallis.
He knows what he’s doing. He’s thorough and knowledgeable. Goes above and beyond!
I would highly recommend him to friends or colleagues. He as trustworthy, professional and respectful thought out the process.
I was digging through some old emails and was flooded with all of the memories of the home buying process. As stressful as it was Mike was always responsive, optimistic, and could answer any of the questions that I had. Mike made the home buying process easy.
He made sure to keep us informed along the entire buying process. He shared important documents and information between the us and seller, provided us with general information on the new location’s points of interests and was very responsive to calls, emails and texts. I think you will find him to be very thorough and easy to work with! We thank him for all his efforts.
